Mandrake tool creates just 33333 and login fails. That's strange, I tested beta3 and beta4, each time a clean install, and not had any problem. I was very careful in entering every value correctly and everything worked after rebooting. What's more, everything works and there is nothing in chap-secrets or pap-secrets :-) Can you say more about how you installed and what is your exact setup ? (in particular, was it a clean install or an upgrade - I have never dared to even *think* to do an upgrade with a Mandrake distro) Gerard
