Hi Jason. 

I tried what you suggested, renaming the theatre_drv.o
file. At first try it generated an error, saying
module "theater" couldn't be found, but I tried again
and now it seems like X works.

But I still think that Mandrake should try to
recompile all the DRI file by taking them from the DRI
project (http://dri.sourceforge.net) and not those
included in XFree which seem to have problems.
