You said you'd only switch the default on a card if there was a good reason. The es1370 is one of the best supported cards by OSS, and if you've switched that, it shows you're just doing this out of contempt for OSS. Also, I'm really *not* lying about the problems I'm seeing with the emu10k1 with ALSA. If anybody else is near Salisbury, MD and wants to see it for themselves they're invited.
