Yes, I noticed this too. I don't understand why it is marked as "not
supported" while it has been working for me for more than a year. I just
had to do sane-find-scanner and put the correct sg? device in
/etc/sane.d/snapscan.conf

But now my kernel crashes every time I try to scan something :-( I'm
using the scsi scard that came with the scanner. Does it work for you?
