Hi, there seems to be a misunderstanding about the library naming scheme. The new version of gpgme contains a different shared library version (libgpgme.so.6 instead of libgpgme.so.0). It would be wrong if both packages would provide gpgme, if they are incompatible. It's different with the devel package, as libgpgme6-devel provides libgpgme-devel and also gpgme-devel for compatibility. > because on my laptop gpgme was not update by libgpgme, and sylpheed-claws need > gpgme, not libgpgme, this can help. That's OK, you'll have to rebuild sylpheed-claws for the new gpgme anyway. > Second, it seems there are a typo in your spec and I am not sure it is > necessary: > %description -n %libname > .... > Proveides libgpgme.so fixed. > three: > package libgpgme6 does not provide libgpgme It shouldn't. -- Gtz Waschk <> master of computer science <> University of Rostock http://wwwtec.informatik.uni-rostock.de/~waschk/waschk.asc for PGP key --> Logout Fascism! <--
