Ok, maybe it's late now but I wish to report a problem that I can
reproduce both with 8.1 / 8.2 and current (today) Cooker, and both with
ext2/ext3 about the QUOTA system.

Turning on quotas on a filesistem, let's say "/home", and assigning quota
to any user, the command "repquota" does NOT show any change until
"quotacheck" is executed. Quota seems to work fine because at a certain
point the user is prompted with "Disk quota exceeded", but even it that
condition the output of "repquota" or "quota -v" just report the initial
quota usage (until the previous quotacheck, I mean).
It could be a KERNEL problem, because I notice that it happens on Mdk-8.1
just after upgrading to latest kernel (btw it's a security update!) and it
desappear as I reboot with the original 2.4.8 kernel...

I think that quota is one of the most important thing for any server with
many users, so it should be fixed as soon as possible.

BTW, "quotacheck -avug" should be run at first startup, or before mounting
"quoted" filesystem at each startup to be correct.

 Thanks, Claudio
