Yeah...  it isn't sh-utils.  It's the fact that you're not using GNOME 
and/or gnome-terminal.  Do me a favor and try to run it from a 
gnome-terminal and let me know if it works (it should).

Try the gnome-terminal thing.  I really have *no* clue why this is 
happening except that maybe gnome-linuxconf is over a year old with no 
updates and maybe doesn't work with GTK2... I have to try to remove all 
GTK2 files and try to rebuild it to see if it will work then.
