Frederic,

Do you know if this has been fixed? The problem seem to be present in my
current cooker rig, and there seems to be no gnome-applets update in the
mirrors as of now:

[root@fulgore:/home/linux/mandrake-devel/contrib/RPMS]# rpm -qa|grep
gnome-applets
gnome-applets-2.0.1-3mdk
[root@fulgore:/home/linux/mandrake-devel/contrib/RPMS]#

Summary: Undesirable sorting of icons in drawers

After I spend my precious time organizing the icons on all my drawer
sub-panels just the way I like it, when I re-login I find them all whacked.
I am not sure if this is some kind of sorting, but if it is, it is really
bad. This should be left the way the user sets them up, or if you insist on
applying a sorting scheme, an option to disable it should be given.

+Were they reloaded in reverse order? If so this should have been fixed by

+
+ * applet.c: (panel_applet_save_position): don't
+ save the position backwards if it isn't a packed
+ panel. The saved position only has the effect of
+ ordering the applets on packed panels, not actually
+ specifying the position. Fixes #90598.

+Re-open if it hasn't been fixed
