I see only pdq (Print Don't Queue) and cups in Cooker currently, so I
feel that you are probably correct. However, cups does provide lpd
compatibility:
cups:/etc/xinetd.d/cups-lpd
cups:/usr/lib/cups/backend/lpd
cups:/usr/lib/cups/daemon/cups-lpd
How this affects your network will require a bit of testing (as I
recall, you are using some other unixen to do your print serving).
