The developers have officially stated that upgrades are really intended for major releases to whatever is current, not from Cooker or Beta or RC upgrades. In other words: 8.2 -> RC2 ok Cooker -> RC2 bad Beta -> RC2 bad RC1 -> RC2 bad Maybe I am reading more into it than I should, but that's what I got out of it. Blue skies...
