Same report as Trevor:

* starting step `createBootdisk'
* to put in modules scsi_hostadapter
* running: mkbootdisk --noprompt --appendargs devfs=mount --device /dev/fd0 
2.4.19-9mdk with root /mnt
mke2fs 1.27ea (14-Mar-2002)
* step `createBootdisk' finished

So the step seems OK, according to the logs... making it much
hard to debug!... see my other mail.
