No or Yes, who know ? If you have other package to install, urpmi will avoid an umount/mount operations by directly taking care of cdrom already mounted. I prefer this but it is problable other people will prefer other things. Note that urpmi is no longer run by user, but it could be the cause as software manager can be run by user once loged as root.
