to this list. please: - use a descriptive subject line; the preferred way is one email per distinct problem, with a subject summarizing the problem - be concise and detailed; e.g. don't talk for hours about the context of your problem, stick to what's important for your bug; but also be detailed, e.g. report software versions, explain the steps to reproduce the problem - for "installation" problems, always attach the file /root/drakx/report.bug.gz as found at the end of the install; if the problem is a showstopper for the install, when you see the problem, insert a DOS/VFAT floppy in the drive, switch to console #2 and type "bug". - for hardware/detection problems involving the PCI or the USB bus (e.g 95% of the situations), attach the output of the command "lspcidrake -v" - if you try to investigate a bit by yourself, it may help us a lot it would be cool also if you searched archives of this list[1] if your bug is already reported & addressed. thanks!
