I built java with gcc 3.2.  The way I look at it, gcc 3.2 is the new 
standard and everything older should be dumped.  One of the reasons I 
like Linux is that it moves on.  I posted a message earlier on cooker 
stating my opinion that they ought to post mozilla compiled with gcc 
3.2.  I think this would force Sun to produce java that would work with 
gcc 3.2.  Talk about a bunch of messages disagreeing.  Oh, well, I still 
stick to that opinion 'cause I can make java work with mozilla compiled 
with gcc 3.2.
