Hi

this might not be a mandrake problem, i'm not sure if anyone else gets
it, but i've had it for ages now (i've been updating using cooker on
this machine since 7.1)

i always get errors saying that .Xauthority is not owned by me (in my
home directory) and sure enough

-rw------- 1 root root 0 Mar 13 15:48 .Xauthority

is the permissions on my .Xauthority file

this leads to problems like this:

xauth: error in locking authority file /home/crispin/.Xauthority
kdesu (kdelibs): WARNING: No X authentication info set for display :0.0

i've tried deleting .Xauthority but it always comes back with root
permissions only - is this normal?

Cheers
cris
