I tried to setup CUPS via the webadmin tool, but always got a client something error. So I tried via the Mandrake Controlcenter and it said it needed more software.
After installing, I setup the printer and printed a testpage with garbage coming out in an endless loop. It aborted the printjob on the router and switched to "Expert Mode" on Mandrake Controlcenter. I then proceeded to the tab "change printsystem" and picked CUPS. Since then the printer has been working.
