Or you could just have done 'service shorewall clear' and then tried to debug this problem. As it stands, your bug report is worthless (there have been quite a few like yours which provide absolultely no information about the real problem). And it's not shorewall that is the problem, it might either be your configuration or the configuration app for it. If you use the snf interface, shorewall rocks. I set up a client with rc2 yesterday as a firewall for a small network with it.
