AFAIK, you are the only one who reported it. Also, IIRC you said only 1 output jack produced the hiss? Are you using the same kind (what kind) of speakers on all these machines?

All the other post where easily fixed by selecting appropiate mixer settings. Do not forget that OSS emu10k1 is not perfect as well. A selection in the installer would be nice.
