There's no straight answer because, in my experience, it's unreliable; you have to do a complex combination of cancelling/restarting the hotsync on the Palm and cancelling/restarting it on J-Pilot or kpalm then, suddenly, everything somehow aligns itself correctly and the data comes across. That said, 9.0 is the only Linux distribution I've ever come across which is even _near_ to cracking this problem out of the box ... Alastair
