No. I always do an md5sum after making any floppy: [ron@small images]$ md5sum /dev/fd0 hd.img 8d20bd3dbe305c0c767101a978a8d0a8 /dev/fd0 8d20bd3dbe305c0c767101a978a8d0a8 hd.img [ron@small images]$
As you see, I am doing an hd.img install from the downloaded cooker tree, not from CDs.
