For the list archives. This it is a configuration option only for 4.2.x and later XFree86 versions, here are the docs relevent to the options: http://www.xfree86.org/4.2.0/mouse.4.html. All you have to do is add this to the XF86Config-4. Option "Protocol" "MouseManPlusPS/2" Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" Option "Buttons" "4" Option "XAxisMapping" "6 7" Option "YAxisMapping" "4 5" Option "EmulateWheel" "1" Option "EmulateWheelButton" "4" Option "EmulateWheelInertia" "12" It uses the same drivers as the MouseMan, but the 4th button uses the EmulateWheel option that is fairly new in XFree86.
