Frdric, give it up already. Many maintainers request that you do CC
them. Even if the message is sent to the list. You are the only one
that asks not to be. So stop it. I've posted a procmail rule for you
to use that would eliminate receiving duplicate emails if that bothers
you.

Some of us use scoring or other techniques that cause messages that are
CC'ed to us to show at a higher priority or get labeled in a way that
makes it easier to see. (For instance I have mutt configured so threads
that I'm participating in, messages I've replied to, and emails with one
of my email address in the To or CC fields get highlighted in green
instead of just the normal white on black). We do this because we
eliminate duplcates via filters. But it still allows people a way to
catch our attention.

Unfortunately I don't have time to check a list to see who does and does
not want to be CC'ed. This is not the first time I've pointed this out
to you. You never bother to respond to these points. You just keep
yelling at people for CC'ing you.

Now I understand in the particular instance it wasn't your package. But
in general CC'ing the package maintainer is the proper thing to do
around here.

If you want I'll be happy to once again post the filters and things I
use for dealing with duplicate emails or even for highlighting important
messages to me (though I think you use Emacs so some of it won't be
useful).

Conflicting methods and requests on bug reporting procedures are a big
problem around here. And your conflicting requests with other Mandrake
employees and maintainers is not helping.

Perhaps Mandrake should set a policy on this that everyone can deal
with.
