ALSA works with M-Audio Audiophile 2496 sound card for wav input, but S/PDIF digital I/O is apparently not supported. ALSA Mixer uses two DAC displays to control left and right stereo. The left and right controls within one display do not work. XMMS volume and equalizer controls do not work. Noatun controls are OK. Robert Robinson
