there used to be a reason for excluding lilo from the rescue: the
binary was using boot.b on the *installed* system, not the rescue
system. This caused pb when the version of lilo and boot.b
mistmatched. This is fixed in latest lilo which works as expected when
using "lilo -r ...". So lilo may re-appear on the rescue (though
anyway, if you don't have a good lilo.conf, things are bad for you ;
and having a good lilo.conf often implies having lilo installed...)
