If it was a ridiculous solution how come it worked? Nothing succeeds
like success. So she posted to the inappropriate list; big deal. She
solved a problem and for this she gets laughed at.

For a Mandrake employee to call someone's proposed fix stupid and then
laugh at them is beyond a flame. It's a public relations disaster.

She didn't ask for support, she gave a fix to a problem.

I dare say she is a crank. She came up with a solution to a problem. If
your attitude is that a good portion of the people that come here are
cranks then why, pray tell, have a Cooker? Just have closed beta
testing like SuSE does. I don't think you understand that to insult
people, as a Mandrake employee, is a powerful negative advertisement.
It turns out that this lady has used Mandrake since 7.0. It was the
first time she posted a fix.
