Look and Feel = Great, this is again a better distro then before I did expert install dutch (nl) localisation, desktop kde not gnome, some servers (samba, squid)
1) drakconf did not start, it complaint about line 423 in /usr/sbin/drakconf, i removed this line and it worked, think its a localisation problem, because english install doesnt have this problem. 2) ispell dutch dictionary (kword) not installed. 3) I had to set openoffice language to use myspell, so it will use dutch dictionary 4) I dit server installation but drakwizard not installed 5) shorewall: i use static ip for one directly (crosscable) connected w98pc. I want samba to work. Had to do the following in /etc/shorewall/rules: ACCEPT fw loc udp 137,138,139 - ACCEPT fw loc tcp 137,138,139 - ACCEPT net fw udp 631 - ACCEPT net fw tcp 22,631,6588 - ACCEPT loc fw udp 631,137,138,139 - ACCEPT loc fw tcp 22,631,6588,137,138,139 - I think the first two lines need to be there because i dont use a hub. Had to do the following in /etc/shorewall/interfaces: net eth0 detect loc eth1 192.168.1.255 This last line could have bin setup by the wizard, it is necessary when the server is started before the local machine. 6) lisa lanbrowsing in konqueror still (2 years) not working. After a long time it sometimes does get filenames but first caracter of filename is lost. 7) applet ksysguard does not accept connections.
