cooker is never forked on the public mirrors. It's difficult as is to get mirrors to carry as much as they do (reference the complaining by Ron Stodden about the mirrors not carrying older versions of Mandrake). Trying to get them to carry two copies of cooker would be next to impossible. You might be able to get some to do it but then they'd be so overloaded with everyone trying to download from them that nobody would be able to get anything done.
