Works if I right-click on the RPM, and press cancel when it wants to
install it, but it doesn't seem to show changelog info ...

Add a -p to any package that isn't installed, and give the path to the
package:

[root@bgmilne bgmilne]# rpm -q --changelog -p
/mnt/buchanhome/bgmilne/downloads/linux-mandrake/mandrake/9.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS/terminal-server-1.5-4mdk.noarch.rpm

(you might want to pipe it into less:

[root@bgmilne bgmilne]# rpm -q --changelog -p
/mnt/buchanhome/bgmilne/downloads/linux-mandrake/mandrake/9.0/i586/Mandrake/RPMS/terminal-server-1.5-4mdk.noarch.rpm|less

Of course, fix your path ...

And, you may rather want to try Software Manager for this, search for
terminal-server and right-click on the right-hand pane and choose "maximum
information" to see the changelog.
