Would this fix have anything to do with problems I'm having with ypbind authentication and accessing files via NFS where I'm a member of a group but not the owner? The same setup works fine with 8.2, but I cannot get 9.0 to work. Group and user IDs on the local machine and the nfs server match, so that is not the problem ;-) Thanks, Damon
