Jason, thank you for digging this up!!! Kcontrol is
not the only thing accessing /home/lmontel, even
starting KDM does it. I run autofs, and I get mile
long logs of failed accesses to /home/lmontel.
Hopefully this info here will be enough of a hint for
him to fix it!
