It's not up to me to decide that. I am not a mandrake employee, but I like the patch very much. I think that the patch will make it into the freetype source code sooner or later. I mean it is free code and the result are really much better than anything I have seen before. freetype-2.1.2 is less stable than suggested on the freetype homepage but 2.1.3 looks good.
