Well, I've also tested this on my 9.0 machine. I've been running openldap 2.0.27 on here for a few days as I was testing nss_ldap and pam_ldap. I'm not sure what the problem is, if there in fact is a problem. Of course, given no details, I have no way of knowing.

Just rebooted my machine and it comes up just peachy so I'm not sure where Oden is coming from with regards to his comments.
