There is a filter of OO.o based on the same code. License is GPL (thus can't go directly into OO.o). But apparently a more up-to-date version is in abiword cvs. Not many features are supported yet (tables, images etc). http://libwpd.sourceforge.net/ So, maybe Brent should rather get the windows version of Star Office to convert all his docs.
