This was answered zilions of times ...
One has first to configure the internet access with drakconnect .... and this
will set the external zone to whatever is necessary: ppp0, eth0, you name it ...
If shorewall writes eth0 instead of ppp0 you have two solutions:
either
1. you didn't configure the internet access with drakconnect ...
2. drakconnect has a bug at that level ...
in both cases, drakfirewall is not the one to be blamed ...
