Summary: Disk Drake fails to update the superblock
           Version: 1.1.9-53mdk
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P1
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

When using disk drake to shrink a partition (ext3 possibly others) it does not
update the super-block right away. This means that more operations can't be
preformed until this has been done and it can cause the meda-data on ext3 to
point off the end of the partition.

If the hard-disk info was modified and re-read after each 'apply' operation
disk-drake would be much more useful, as the user would not have to reboot
between each operation.

This same bug appears with ReiserFS, causing the system to report that it was
uncleanly shutdown every time.
