------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-11-27 03:57 ------- FDISK and LVM for OS/2 also create "overlapping partitions". In most cases involving HPFS and FATxx partitions, recent Partition Magic versions can successfully alter the partition tables to remove the overlap, allowing other partitioning tools to be used normally. Whether it can produce similar success with NTFS or EXT2 I have no idea. Another tool that can solve this problem is DFSee <http://www.dfsee.com/dfsee.htm>. DFSee can do a non-destructive delete of existing "overlapping" partition(s), then recreate them without dataloss using standard values. DFSee has the potential to get it right even where others fail. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
