mailman works, even with this. I think it's used more for error reporting, as your log indicates. It doesn't impact the working of mailman itself.I've been running mailman with postfix and I haven't found any problems yet.
and what version of mailman? surelly, i speak about latest version from cooker (mailman-2.0.13-2mdk)
from mailman logs:
Nov 17 02:23:07 2002 (21285) Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/vdanen/tmp/mailman-buildroot/var/lib/mailman/Mailman/Handlers/ HandlerAPI.py", line 82, in do_pipe line
Right... an error message.
Yeah. I just spent yesterday and today figuring out a way to do this. mailman isn't very nice to package. =( Anyways, I made some changes to it and patched all the Makefiles to do the DESTDIR thing... which, in the end, didn't help one bit. But is a little nicer (going to submit it to the mailman folk to see if it can make it into the actual package). The end result which is quite ugly is compiling the python modules postinstall. I don't like this, but it was the only way to remove the buildroot info, short of making a chroot in the buildroot and compiling it from there.and grep vdanen * into /var/lib/mailman/Mailman directory found this string in numerous files..
Anyways, -3mdk has just been uploaded. Please test it. I setup three lists and all seem to work fine over here. Doing a "grep -r vdanen /var/lib/mailman/*" gives me a few matches, but these are the config.db files that I created (with [EMAIL PROTECTED] as the listowner).
