while we focus on it, Franois, is it possible to use the nice progression bar
( the growing arrow ) instead of the dots on urpmi.

bar is the default now on wget as quoted on NEWS from /usr/share/wget... :
"* Changes in Wget 1.8.

** A new progress indicator is now available and used by default.
You can choose the progress bar type with `--progress=TYPE'. Two
types are available, "bar" (the new default), and "dot" (the old
dotted indicator). You can permanently revert to the old progress
indicator by putting `progress = dot' in your `.wgetrc'.
"

But urpmi seems to force the progress=dot when dowloading new rpms.

I checked I have no 'progress' configuration parameter in /etc/wgetrc nor in
.wgetrc.
