I noticed that if I wanted to install a package that say was dependant on 3
other packages, urpmi would connect to the mirror, grab package one, disconnect,
then reconnect back to the mirror , grab package 2 and so on and so on. I would
be nice to have urpmi just connect once to the mirror, grab all packages that
the mirror contains and then logoff.

This bug was a wget bug which may be used by urpmi to connect to server, you may
want to use curl or rsync or even ssh (provided server are available).
Curl can be used instead of wget and is preferred if installed, so this bug is
resolved as invalid (not a problem of urpmi, furthermore already workarounded).
