In a futile exercise I just uploaded to ftp.linux-mandrake.com/incoming the following package:

cyrus-imapd-2.1.11-1mdk.src.rpm

The package builds (and works) under 8.2 and 9.0.

Since the incoming directory isn't world readable, it is also available at
http://perso.wanadoo.es/olivetti/cyrus/
with release notes and binary packages.

This is a security release that fixes some potential buffer overflows in the sieve code, as well as a pre-login buffer overflow in the IMAP parsing code.

Note that cyrus-sasl v2 is required by cyrus-imapd 2.1.x, and that
cyrus-sasl v1 (libsasl7, distributed with mandrake) is no longer developed. While the previous version of cyrus-imapd (2.1.10) is still in incoming (duh), cyrus-sasl v2 has vanished, anyway packages for it are available at the same address.

cyrus-imapd-2.1.11-1mdk.src.rpm

Summary : A high-performance mail store with IMAP and POP3 support.
Description :
The Cyrus IMAP Server is a scaleable enterprise mail system designed for
use from small to large enterprise environments using standards-based
technologies.

A full Cyrus IMAP implementation allows a seamless mail and bulletin
board environment to be set up across multiple servers. It differs from
other IMAP server implementations in that it is run on "sealed" servers,
where users are not normally permitted to log in. The mailbox database
is stored in parts of the filesystem that are private to the Cyrus IMAP
system. All user access to mail is through software using the IMAP,
POP3, or KPOP protocols. TLSv1 and SSL are supported for security.

Have fun
