Product: rpmdrake
Component: program
Summary: The "Search function" does not find installed packages
Version: 2.0-27mdk
Platform: PC
OS/Version: All
Status: ASSIGNED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED],[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I wanted to find what all vim packages I have installed and all that I can
install. But rpmdrake and rpmdrake-remove did not find any package. It was
suspicious to me, so I used 'rpm -qa | grep vim' and found that I have 4
packages installed. So I consider it to be a bug.

I'll confirm this:
]$ rpm -qa |grep vim
vim-enhanced-6.1-21mdk
vim-X11-6.1-21mdk
vim-common-6.1-21mdk
but nothing shows up in rpmdrake-remove by search or when "All packages,
alphabetical" is clicked
vim-minimal shows up rpmdrake for install.

Same here, with NVIDIA packages:
[root@localhost log]# rpm -qa |grep NV
NVIDIA_kernel-2.4.19-16mdk-1.0-3123.1mdk
NVIDIA_GLX-1.0-3123.1mdk
but they do not show in "Remove Software" component of Mdk Control Center
