Hi,
About the au8830 (aureal) sound driver, I would like to add that
I forced it to load (insmod -f) after a regular modprobe on
soundcore, and it seems to work ok. I guess the same is worth a
try with other drivers.
The NVidia module can be recompiled, so it is not a real problem.
