Do you have more infos on that bug? Do you still have the problem with 9.0
final? Any other hints? Without the hardware in our hands it will be hard even
to reproduce, not to say fixing..

My 3Com Etherlink III PC Card (3C589C) is not detected during installation of
Mandrake 9.0 RC2. It is also not detected by draknet and the driver cannot be
selected from the list of drivers during installation or in draknet.
The card is however correctly detected by the pcmcia daemon and the correct
driver is loades immediately. To get the networking system to use dhcp on the card
I had to fiddle around with draknet for some time:
The card is listed in the list of network interfaces but it's impossible to get at the
settings menu.
I finally got it to detect and configure the card by pulling it out and inserting it
again
during the network configuration wizzard, but still dhcp autodetection is not run
automatically upn inserting the card, I have to do a "service network restart" to
activate the interface.
