Hi.
The whole weekend I'm trying to upgrade from Gnome2.0 to 2.1. Meanwhile
I think I've installed most of the cooker RPMs, but it looks like
there's still something missing, as I've no text anymore in any windows,
on the desktop or in any dialogs. Also the panel gives up after several
fails of starting.
The .xsession-errors tells me:
----------------
FAMOpen failed, FAMErrno=0
FAMOpen failed, FAMErrno=0
...
** (gnome-panel:4710): WARNING **: Unable to monitor XML document. (...)
gnome-panel: relocation error: /usr/lib/libgen_util_applet-2.so:
undefined symbol: wnck_tasklist_set_icon_loader
FAMOpen failed, FAMErrno=0
FAMOpen failed, FAMErrno=0
...
----------------
This all a few times...
I think my main problem is to get back the fonts/text, as I even cannot
see my name when I put in into the login-box of gdm.
Any ideas?
