I do not agree with you. I upgraded to latest urpmi 4.2.2 and I don't see any change
in output format.

during the download (string blablabla below) NOTHING gets displayed to inform us
of the progression of the transfer.

Only curl users can see the progression, but I don't wanna use curl, I'd like to use
wget and see the old progression bar during wget download process.

This is very annoying when you download 60Mb to see nothing happen. The
layman would think urpmi is frozzen... progression is mandatory or at least must be
given as a new option (if you want to keep your work on masking wget asis).

description:
using urpmi --wget -v, nothing is displayed during the download phase (i'd like my
old progression bar !).

Informations like:
 ftp://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxrpm
 [time] URL:ftp://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.rpm [AAA/BBB] -> "/var/cache/xxx.rpm" [n]

are nice but :

1. an option to keep a progression bar would be a plus (or let the user choose the
old wget output
2. why is AAA always equal to BBB ? what is it supposed to represent?
3. what is [n] at the end of URL:.... ?

Example:

URL:ftp://sunsite.uio.no/pub/linux/Mandrake/Mandrake-devel/cooker/i586/Mandrake/RPMS/samba-common-2.2.7a-1mdk.i586.rpm
