Mandrake Linux 9.0 includes both XFree86 4.2.1 and XFree86 3.3.6.
The ATI driver for XFree86 4.2.1 appears to be broken. The driver has been
tested with the following cards on 2 different machines:
ATI Mach64 3D Rage Pro
ATI Mach64 3D Rage II
startx produces the X startup followed by a blank screen.
As the log doesn't actually specify any errors I have not included it, however
please ask me for the configuration and/or log and I will promptly provide the
file(s).
