So /lib/i686 is missing in the patch chosen for P4.
After a symlink of i686 to mmx on the p4 box, it looks ok:

Could you please disable inclusion of icc7 setup scripts?
echo $LD_ASSUME_KERNEL?
LD_SHOW_AUXV=1 /bin/true ?
