Works for me :) Did some tests with -g, though my notebook doesn't need to switch to text mode before geoing to suspend: -g: doesn't work, apmd says: /usr/sbin/apmd: invalid option -- g --graphic_switch: apmd starts and switches to first console before suspending (I see it after it comes back) and back to X after wake up and then X is killed and restarted... but that also happens for me when using the old mechanism to do this stuff.
