When visiting sites with very much pictures on it, X starts using very much memory,
and in
worst cases even uses up all available memory (256 MB ram in my case) and swap space
(also 256 MB) forcing a reboot of the system. I saw this behaviour when using the
Konqueror
web browser and the 18/12 nightly build of Phoenix.
An example where you can see this behaviour (although not that extreme) is when
visiting

This is a part of the output of top when sorted on memory usage, before visting the
