Hi Friends, When i install the MDK, the drakconf should give me an option to save the contents of the CD into Harddisk, so that further Add/Remove programme will not require inserion/removal/changing of the CD's. This may need an additional 5 minutes, but the benefit will be there throughout it's life(until next verion/upgrade).
This option should be during installation and the user should also be able to do this from S/W sources manager. With the HDD cost coming down like nothing and 40/60GB's becoming a norm, this feature will make life easier for newbies. I do this with every version of Mandrake since 8.0, but for a newbie this will be a nice feature...
